  1. Hi Lori… I read this article and it describes me to a “tee” I believe I’m addicted to diet drinks. I also have increased my intake over the past three years. I know that I should be drinking more water. What else do you drink besides water? Tea? Coffee? Help!

      I was soooo addicted to Diet Coke–I would almost drink nothing else (except the occasional iced tea & diet cherry limeade from Sonic). However, in February I began drinking only water. I cut out all caffeine & artificial sweeteners. My goal is to drink a gallon of water every day. Water by itself can get really boring, so I add slices of fruit (strawberries, lemons, limes, oranges), cucumber, & mint to change up the flavor. When I gave up caffeine, I didn’t really notice any side effects, but there was a lot going on during that time that kept my mind occupied.
